Tasting notes:
- Colour: medium intense ruby red colour, very clear tending to transparent.
- Aroma: bouquet with delicate floral aromas of broom and roses, fruity aromas of raspberry, blackberry and black cherry, to which are added, in the end, surprising spicy notes of star anise and ginger.
- Taste: the delicate flavour surprises for its enveloping softness, moderate freshness and a nuanced tannicity that, overall, make it pleasantly balanced. The taste profile is completed by a persistent finish, which closes on highly appreciated mentholated notes.
Winery – Tenuta Mara: at the very beginning of the year 2000, Giordano Emendatori decided to make his passion for wine a business, buying a plot of land in Romagna. Dedicated to his wife Mara, Giordano Emendatori’s “inspirational muse,” the estate is based on one of the Peninsula’s most important grape varieties: sangiovese.
