Winery – Scopetone: Ferruccio Biondi, mostly credited for inventing Brunello, planted his first Sangiovese on the best location in the region, the Scarnacuoia cru, where we find Podere Scopetone’s vines today.
Since 2009, Loredana Tanganelli and Antonio Brandi have given new life to Brunello’s original vineyard, making some of the region’s purest wines.
