Luce is the first wine made from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot in Montalcino, the result of a collaboration between the Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi families. The goal was to combine the softness of Merlot with the elegance of Sangiovese in the soils of Brunello di Montalcino.
