It is an oval lemon, medium-large in size, with a particularly succulent straw-yellow pulp and a peel with a very particular fragrance, due to the richness of the essential oils present. It is cultivated, under the supervision of the Consorzio del Limone di Sorrento IGP, from Vico Equense to Massa Lubrense in lands overlooking the sea rich in volcanic elements, according to the traditional method of pergolas and “straw”.

This red from Baglio Gibellina is the right choice for all wine lovers who are not too sweet. Made from Merlot vines with a careful harvest of first-class grapes, the subsequent fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, resulting in aging on the fine lees for several months before bottling, which decrees its quality and uniqueness.
Vinsanto del Chianti has been produced since 1997 from Trebbiano toscano and Malvasia del Chianti grapes. The grapes are harvested in September, then left to dry slowly in suitable environments with controlled humidity and temperature. After vinification, the Vinsanto is aged in traditional caratelli.
Barbaresco Rabajà DOCG, produced by Giuseppe Cortese, is made from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes. After manual selection, the best bunches are transported to the winery for fermentation. Subsequent aging from 20 to 22 months takes place in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 10 months in the bottle, to achieve the potential for excellent tasting immediately after bottling, but also after several years of storage.
Made from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in La Morra, Barolo DOCG Dagromis undergoes traditional vinification, aging for 12 months in barriques and an additional 12 months in large barrels, resulting in an intense flavor with a long finish.
“Il Ghizzano” is the biodynamic wine that allows the winery to make its way into wine bars, wine shops and restaurants around the world. Made from Sangiovese grapes with a small percentage of Merlot, Il Ghizzano presents itself to the consumer as a fresh, fruity and sweet wine.
The winter of 1998 was characterized by heavy rainfall, followed by a slightly cooler early spring than in previous years. In May, flowering of the vines occurred evenly and the summer gave sunny weather. The vineyards were thus able to develop under the best conditions, decreeing excellent veraison. With the harvest, grapes were picked in excellent condition, undergoing ripening processes that decreed an excellent homogeneity, as well as the quality that today distinguishes the 1998 vintage of Ornellaia.
Brunello di Montalcino “Canalicchio di Sopra” tells a family and business story of elegance, depth, minerality and sapidity. “Desiderio,” named after an imposing Chianino bull from the 1800s who lived on the Avignonesi estate and was famous for his extraordinary size. In his honor “Desiderio,” today Avignonesi produces the wine of the same name, a Tuscan red made from merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes.
